Found some old Stock Certificates while cleaning out my parents’ home. How do I figure out what they’re worth?

I was cleaning out my parents' house today and found a bunch of Stock Certificates from 1958. My dad has dementia and doesn't remember anything about them. It's for “American Electronics, Inc.” which, according to the cert, was incorporated in California on Sept 6th, 1945. My Google searches haven't found anything.

PROBABLY this isn't worth anything or my dad would've done something with it a long time ago, but you never know. How do I figure out what it is?
