I’ve seen a lot of posts recently saying “x stock trading at same price as 2019 it’s gotta be a buy now!” While first of all many factors need to be accounted for to adjust for the valuation, the most important thing is that the stock price is not the market cap for a lot of these growth companies. Take Zillow for example and check at how much their share count has grown. Maybe they have the same share price as 3 years ago, but the total valuation could be as much as 40% higher. Just something to keep in mind imo.
