Fundamental analysis
– Analyze income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
– Understand the debt structure
– Analyze the key metrics, ratios
Technical analysis
– What's the trend? Up, down, trading range? Possible base or top?
– How's the volume?
Competition
– Does it have a moat or competitive advantage?
– Who are the obvious competitors?
– Who might be a less obvious competitor, especially outside the industry?
