I have a two part question. The second one is quite advanced and perhaps CFA / accounting-nerds are best placed to answer it.
First, is there a free software that provides estimates/forecasts of book value? I know *Tikr* does but it is not free. I am also not sure whether these estimates are their own or analyst projections.
Second, what is a good DIY for this? Let's take the example of COINBASE ($COIN). This is how i am looking at it and let me know if this is making sense.
Current book value: 5B
Suppose I project , to make it easy, 2022 cash flow from operations = 1B
And cash flow from investing = -2B , cash from financing =0
Does that mean that Projected book value = 4B?
This gets complicated quickly once I start assuming that they will be diluting by issuing shares or providing stock compensation…
Really interested in the projected book value of $COIN for q4/2022 if the cr8pto winter continues (and I think it will .. until the next ice age).
