Stock splits??

Why is there so much hype for stock splits? There's no added value to the price of the stock when it splits right?

I maxed out my roth for 2021 and 22 back in April..I did some research on long term etfs and decided to go with

50 VTI at 193
10 VDE at 107

I should be good to go until I max out my contributions next year right?
