Professional Analysis: Are stocks poised to double their all time highs before the end of the year?

I've just watched my target plan 401K which supposedly is invested in conservative “safe” holdings for my age get wiped down 25% in less than a month. Sadly because of these conservative holdings, I'm told, it's the reason we didn't experience all the gains so many have described, but we sure as fuck see the losses. The funny thing is I've seen this happen two other times in my career. Back then it took me 7 to 10 years to rebuild. I never recovered, just steadily fed the beast. Fund managers at the company did really well over those decades. I watched them. They became multi-millionaires and even a billionaire. Good times. But for me, well, after a lifetime of frugality and saving, I've got perhaps a year's worth of retirement now due to orchestrated inflation, stagnated wages, and these shitty boom bust cycles which wipe down my savings.

So, obviously, the value of money means little. It can easily be devalued, and markets can easily, perhaps indirectly be manipulated, and wiped down.

Logically, the opposite could be true, possible as well. Improbable, but still possible.

Therefore, I substitute my own shitty reality with a better one. The only option we have now is for valuations to double. It'll restore my savings, make me whole again, and even provide me with not one year of retirement, but TWO!

Anyone else living this life?

I'm frustrated and at wits end. I don't have the time or health to rebuild yet again.
