My friend holds positions in all ARK funds and most are down about 70%

they are held in a TFSA and to contribution room would be gone forever if sold. What would you do if you were in my friends shoes? sell and throw the remainder on spy? QQQ? or keep riding the rough seas and hope for a recovery.
