DM bots targeting /r/stocks

In the last couple months, I have been getting repeated DMs all taking the same exact form:

Hey, saw you posting about INDUSTRY in r/stocks, good call. Thought I’d see what you think of COMPANY NAME (TICKER).

They’re a INDUSTRY company using BLAH BLAH BLAH technology.

Pretty insane – they’re listed on INDUSTRY COMPANY website as a partner in their COMPANY developer program. In case you’re not familiar, INDUSTRY COMPANY is the $XB business (TICKER).

Imo very promising that a company with XX,XXX employees globally sees potential in a INDUSTRY COMPANY. What’s your take?

I imagine lots of others are seeing these as well. Not sure if there's anything that could be done about it, other than warning people about these bots spamming out DMs. The message format is always similar, but definitely slightly tweaked each time for each company they are pushing. Makes me wonder if it's a coordinated effort by some hired marketing firm.
