Netflix Inc is working on offering livestream content to its customers, according to a report from Deadline.
The company is working on a livestreaming option for stand-up specials and various other content. This may open up the avenue for Netflix to air live reunions, although Deadline reports that the developments are in their early stages.
This should have been done ages ago. They are smart to tap into this sector. Adding live streams of gaming such as fortnite and large multiplayer tournaments would be a huge customer pull and money stream. Hopefully it won’t take them long to get it going and it boosts their profits. I’m bag holding but feel a bit better after this announcement!
