Is investing in the stock market, primarily funds such as VTI, VOO, and the like, essentially investing in the advancement of civilization, and shorting it is betting against the advancement of civilization?
Obviously, it goes up and down, but the very nature of it is to go consistently up as we discover new innovations and technological marvels.
