Ok so here is the deal. I'm 27 and currently have around 30k invested in to a certain meme stock in the hopes of a short squeeze. Prior to feb 2021 I had absolutely zero knowledge of investing or stocks, since then I have followed the ape saga and have a basic understanding of how the stockmarket works. I run a moderately successful online business and have quite a lot of money coming in and honestly, I don't know what to do with it. I realise everything is collapsing at the moment and this gotten me worried about having money in the bank with inflation just eating it away. I'm looking for long term, lifelong safe investments that are proven to provide and increase in value over the next 10-20 years, if such a thing exists? I'd be looking to throw around 50k in to it and then just forget it exists for the next 20 years? My meme gamble was throw away money, though if the squeeze happens it would be nice.
