Cramer is right! Powell wants a market crash! He wants recent retirees back to work! He wants people to have to dip into their retirement accounts and spend!
In short Powell wants us all to become poorer! I think this is the only way to get people back to work.
I was Xmas shopping and it's very sad that retail has one old lady working the cash register and stocking shelves.
We need people to get back to work in America! My 25 year old neighbors sit around playing video games all day living with mommy!
Last summer I politely asked one of them why they weren't working. He replied “work is for losers bro!…. I live at home and don't need money!” Seriously the dude is 25 and sits around doing nothing all day and has no intention to.ever get a job.
There's more 20.somethings just like him in my neighborhood. I just read an article that now 50% of 18 to 29 year olds are living home with parents now.
So I think unfortunately Powell has to crash the market to about sp500 2500, and cause people to get 2nd jobs etc to get prices down and America back to work.
I'm now 40% cash.
Good luck all. Pain ahead in 2023 I fear.
