Greetings to the esteemed members of the Stocks subreddit community,
I am a 20-year-old male seeking guidance on investing approximately $10,000 with a long-term horizon in a Roth IRA. I have the capacity to deposit $350 on a monthly basis for the next two years with expected increases thereafter. As a college student aspiring to become a financial/money manager or advisor, I have completed courses such as financial investment analysis and financial management, which have equipped me with fundamental knowledge of various investment securities. Currently, I would like to implement strategic asset allocation and allocate 80% of my portfolio towards grounded and passive investments, while reserving the remaining 20% for an active satellite (consider rebalancing and a possible approach to 100% passive)
Given my investment approach and time horizon, I am curious to know your suggestions on which investment vehicles to consider for the next 20-30+ years. What specific investments would you recommend to secure my financial future?
I am interested in learning about various investment alternatives that can help me achieve my goals. Thank you in advance for your advice and recommendations.
