I started investing in one of the best bull markets in recent history, then the very next year we’re in a bear market! Night and day.
Something I’ve been thinking about is how the old quote “be greedy when others are fearful, but be fearful when others are greedy” is playing out with 100% accuracy.. last year if I was fearful because of the greed everywhere I’d be able to swoop in with an extra few thousand at these great prices.. the signs were there, we all knew there would be a reckoning for the financial policy we took up during 2020/2021, but for some reason most seemed more than happy to buy ATHs
Honestly, im pretty grateful to have gotten to experience this early on in my journey before I had a lot to lose. I trimmed up my portfolio and have been scooping up a few things when they hit certain prices DCAing. I really have no desire for the market to recover any time soon
