Hi, as the title says I'm 19 and basically looking for advice. I have a $6,428 portfolio and $2,900 just sat in my personal bank account. My portfolio consists of 71% S&P500 and 29% tech stocks including Apple, Tesla, alphabet, Microsoft, Nvidia and a couple of others.
I only started in April and have grown my portfolio about $530 ish. The reason I have $2,900 in my bank account not invested is because I am planning to go abroad and am hesitant to add it to my portfolio. Do you think it would be smart to add it or is it not worth the risk?
As you can imagine I'm not an expert, but I am learning.
Can anyone give me any tips or advice on anything you think I should know. Currently my Portfolio is just being left untouched and in the mean time I am just trying to teach myself as much as possible. Can anybody recommend any books that I should read. Any comments would be appreciated, cheers.
